Data deletion

How to disconnect your Google account and have your stored data deleted.

Last updated: July 6, 2026

  1. Disconnect inside Velvet Elves

In the app, open Settings and go to Integrations, then choose Disconnect on your Gmail (or Google Calendar) connection. This deactivates the connection and stops every future call to your Google account immediately. Email features that used that mailbox simply stop; nothing else in your workspace changes.

  2. Or revoke access from your Google Account

You can also remove Velvet Elves from Google’s side at myaccount.google.com/connections. Both routes have the same effect; doing either one is enough.

  3. Request deletion of stored data

Disconnecting stops access but does not by itself erase what was already logged to your transactions. To have stored data deleted, including Google-derived data such as logged email messages, send a request to support@velvetelves.com from the email address on your account.

  4. What gets deleted, and when

We delete or anonymize the requested data within 30 days. The one exception: records your brokerage must keep, for legal, compliance, audit, or transaction-record obligations, are preserved only as long as those obligations require, and we will tell you in our reply if that applies to any part of your request.

Full details on what we collect and how we use it are in the privacy policy, including the Google user data section.
